The Fittonia albivenis ‘Red’ (Red Nerve Plant) is a low-growing tropical ground cover native to South American rainforests. Its small leaves are densely marked with bright red to pink veins against a deep green background. Compact and slow-growing, reaching 10–15 cm in height. Safe for pets and children.

Care Light — Medium to bright indirect light. Avoid direct sun. Water — Keep soil consistently moist. Water when the surface just begins to feel dry. Humidity — Requires high humidity. Performs best in terrariums or humid environments. Temperature — 18–26°C. Very sensitive to cold and drafts. Fertiliser — Feed monthly during the growing season with a diluted balanced fertiliser. Difficulty — Moderate.
