The Ficus Elastica (Ficus elastica), commonly known as the Rubber Plant, is a tropical tree native to South and Southeast Asia. Its large, glossy, deep green to burgundy leaves make it one of the most visually impactful indoor plants. Fast-growing with good light, it can reach 1–2 m indoors. Also recognised for its air-purifying properties.

Care Light — Bright indirect light. Tolerates lower light but growth will slow. Water — Water when the top 3–4 cm of soil feels dry. Avoid overwatering. Humidity — Tolerates average indoor humidity. Wipe leaves with a damp cloth occasionally to keep them glossy. Temperature — 15–27°C. Avoid cold drafts. Fertiliser — Feed monthly during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Difficulty — Easy.

This plant arrives repotted into a blue stoneware pot (diameter 9 cm) — glazed stoneware form with a rich blue finish. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Drainage hole included.
